If a contractor didn't work for a week their timesheet can be cancelled. They can cancel it or you can do it on their behalf.
If a contractor doesn't need to submit a timesheet for a given period, for example because they didn't work you can direct them to cancel their timesheet. Alternatively you also have the ability to cancel it on their behalf.
Navigate to the contractors timesheet you'd like to cancel. From the drop down menu choose Submit timesheet. Then from the bottom of the timesheet choose Cancel. You'll be asked to enter a cancellation reason to describe why the timesheet isn't needed.
If the timesheet needs to be re-opened in the future this can be done at any time by following the Submit timesheet on contractors' behalf guide. By making changes to the timesheet it will be automatically set to open until it's submitted for review.
